India-Based EV Startup Ultraviolette Raises $85M to Scale Production, Develop New Platforms Globally
Yali Capital and TDK Ventures led the funding as Ultraviolette prepares to increase manufacturing and enter the US in 2027.
Bengaluru-based electric vehicle startup Ultraviolette has raised $85 million in a funding round led by Yali Capital and TDK Ventures, with participation from technology investor Lip-Bu Tan and the company’s existing shareholders.
The company will use the capital to increase production of its electric two-wheelers, develop its next generation of vehicle platforms and accelerate its expansion into markets outside India.
The latest investment brings Ultraviolette’s disclosed funding since August 2025 to $151 million, including a $21 million round led by TDK Ventures and $45 million secured from Zoho Corporation and Lingotto in 2025.
Yali Capital and TDK Ventures Lead the Round
The latest round brings together Yali Capital, an Indian deep-tech investment firm, and TDK Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Japanese electronic components manufacturer TDK.
Lip-Bu Tan, chief executive of Intel and chairman of Walden International, also invested personally and will serve as an adviser to Ultraviolette. Tan first met the company’s founders in 2019, when the startup was still developing prototypes and had not launched a commercial vehicle.
Ultraviolette described the investment as growth capital. While several reports have categorised the financing as a Series E round, the company’s public announcement referred to it more broadly as a new funding round.
Ganapathy Subramaniam, founding managing partner at Yali Capital, said the investor was attracted by Ultraviolette’s in-house engineering across batteries, powertrains, software, radar systems and vehicle safety.
Scaling an Expanded Electric Vehicle Portfolio
Ultraviolette plans to use the funding to increase production of the F77 and X-47 electric motorcycles while preparing its forthcoming Tesseract scooter and Shockwave enduro motorcycle for the market.
The company develops several parts of its technology internally, including battery systems, power electronics, vehicle architecture and software. Its battery capabilities cover architectures ranging from 48 volts to 400 volts, allowing the startup to develop products across different vehicle formats and performance categories.
This vertically integrated model gives Ultraviolette greater control over the design and performance of its vehicles but also requires substantial investment in research, production equipment, supply chains and manufacturing capacity.
The new financing arrives as the company prepares to broaden its range beyond its original performance-motorcycle segment. The Tesseract is intended to take Ultraviolette into the larger electric scooter category, while the Shockwave targets riders seeking a lighter enduro-style motorcycle.
Preparing for International Expansion
Ultraviolette is targeting entry into the United States in 2027 and plans to expand across selected markets in Latin America and Southeast Asia.
The company has already begun establishing an international presence through exports and distribution relationships in Europe. Its broader expansion strategy will require the startup to adapt its products to different regulatory requirements, charging standards, pricing structures and customer expectations.
Entering the US would represent a significant step for Ultraviolette, placing the company in a competitive motorcycle market with established international brands and demanding safety and regulatory standards.
The fresh capital will support the development of vehicle platforms designed for multiple markets rather than products built exclusively around Indian operating conditions.
Manufacturing Capacity Becomes a Priority
Ultraviolette was founded in 2016 by Narayan Subramaniam and Niraj Rajmohan, who serve as chief executive and chief technology officer, respectively.
As the company adds new products and enters more markets, manufacturing capacity is becoming an increasingly important part of its growth strategy. Ultraviolette is planning a new production facility in southern India as it seeks to increase output and enter higher-volume vehicle segments.
The proposed plant involves an investment of approximately ₹7.79 billion, or about $82 million, over five years. It is expected to support expanded manufacturing and the company’s move beyond premium electric motorcycles.
The $85 million funding round gives Ultraviolette additional resources to support this production push while continuing to develop proprietary vehicle and battery technology.
Building from India for Global Markets
Ultraviolette’s fundraising reflects growing investor interest in Indian electric mobility companies that combine domestic manufacturing with international ambitions.
India is one of the world’s largest two-wheeler markets, giving electric motorcycle and scooter manufacturers a substantial potential customer base. At the same time, competition is increasing as established manufacturers and well-funded startups expand their electric product portfolios.
Ultraviolette will now need to convert its engineering capabilities and funding into higher production volumes, successful product launches and commercially sustainable international operations.
Its immediate priorities include scaling the F77 and X-47, launching the Tesseract and Shockwave, developing new global EV platforms and preparing for its planned US entry in 2027.

India-based Startup Unveilr AI Secures Seed Funding at $2M Valuation to Expand AI Agents Across UAE and US
The startup will use the investment to strengthen its engineering team, develop AI agents and expand its international sales operations.
Indian search visibility startup Unveilr AI has secured seed funding from AJVC, the early-stage investment firm founded by Aviral Bhatnagar, at a post-investment valuation of ₹16.7 crore, approximately $2 million.
The amount invested was not disclosed. Unveilr AI plans to use the capital to strengthen its product and engineering capabilities, expand its AI-agent technology and build its sales organisation across India, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
Improving Brand Visibility Across AI Platforms
Founded by Sanditya Srivastava and launched in February 2026, Unveilr AI helps B2B and consumer brands monitor and improve how they appear across traditional search engines and generative AI platforms.
Its technology tracks brand visibility across services including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude. The platform combines conventional search engine optimisation with answer engine optimisation, which focuses on improving a company’s presence in AI-generated responses.
As consumers increasingly use AI assistants to research products and services, brands may need to understand not only how they rank on search engines but also how frequently they are mentioned or recommended by AI models.
Unlike traditional search results, an AI-generated answer may feature only a small number of companies. Unveilr AI is building tools to help businesses identify the questions for which competitors are recommended and understand the sources influencing those responses.
AI Agents Analyse Search and Recommendation Gaps
Unveilr AI uses AI agents to monitor search platforms, analyse brand mentions and identify opportunities to improve visibility.
The technology can show businesses where competitors appear in AI-generated answers and determine which websites or content sources may have influenced those recommendations.
Companies can then use these insights to improve their content, technical SEO and wider brand authority. The platform is intended to support both traditional organic search traffic and discovery through generative AI services.
Unveilr AI plans to use part of the seed investment to expand these agents and automate more of the research and analysis involved in tracking brand performance across multiple platforms.
Early Customer Results
Unveilr AI says customers can begin observing improvements within their first month of using the platform, although results may vary depending on the company, sector and existing online presence.
The startup reported that one Indian B2B legal-services customer recorded a 4.7-fold increase in traffic originating from AI platforms, a five-fold rise in leads and an approximately 80% increase in ChatGPT citations.
For one direct-to-consumer customer, Unveilr AI said organic search now contributes approximately 27% of total revenue.
These figures were reported by the company and have not been independently verified.
Expanding Sales Across Three Markets
The seed funding will support the development of Unveilr AI’s engineering and product teams as the company expands its technology.
It also plans to build its sales operations across India, the UAE and the US, targeting businesses seeking to understand how AI platforms represent their brands and recommend competing products.
Each market presents a different commercial opportunity. India offers a growing base of digital businesses, the UAE provides access to brands expanding across the Middle East, and the US represents one of the largest markets for search technology and AI-based marketing tools.
Preparing for Agent-Led Commerce
Unveilr AI’s longer-term product roadmap extends beyond monitoring how brands appear in AI-generated answers.
The company is working towards agents capable of researching products, comparing available options and potentially completing purchases on behalf of consumers.
If agent-led commerce becomes more widely adopted, brands may increasingly need to ensure that their products can be discovered and assessed by autonomous systems as well as human customers.
The new funding gives Unveilr AI additional resources to develop this technology while building its commercial presence across its three target markets.

Indian HealthTech Startup Vytalyou Raises $1.05M Pre-Series A to Expand Preventive Healthcare Clinics Nationwide
The doctor-led longevity company will add two Mumbai centres before pursuing a broader expansion across India.
Mumbai-based preventive healthcare startup Vytalyou has raised ₹9 crore, approximately $1.05 million, in a pre-Series A funding round from Chetan Jain of Pharma Dose and Ratan Jain of Venus Industries.
The transaction values the company at approximately ₹33 crore. Vytalyou will use the capital to open two additional clinics in Mumbai, expanding its network to three centres, including its existing facility in Powai.
A Doctor-Led Preventive Healthcare Model
Founded in 2025 by molecular oncologist Dr Chirantan Bose and radiologist Dr Preetesh Bhandari, Vytalyou operates doctor-led clinics focused on preventive healthcare and longevity.
The company seeks to help customers identify potential health risks through medical assessments before developing personalised care programmes under clinical supervision.
Its services include pathology and radiology testing, cardiorespiratory assessments, body composition analysis, genetic and cancer screening and gut microbiome evaluation.
Vytalyou also offers personalised intravenous therapies, regenerative interventions and non-invasive pain-management services for chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
The availability, suitability and supporting clinical evidence for individual tests or interventions may vary. Medical services are reviewed by the company’s doctors based on each client’s health profile.
AI-Based Predictive Longevity Evaluation
At the centre of Vytalyou’s offering is its Predictive Longevity Evaluation, which uses an AI-based algorithm to assess a person’s health information, biological ageing indicators and possible areas of future risk.
Doctors review the results and use them to develop a medically supervised programme. Depending on the individual, this may include lifestyle guidance, additional diagnostic assessments or other interventions offered by the company.
The platform is intended to combine information from blood tests, medical imaging and other assessments to give doctors a broader view of a customer’s health.
Vytalyou presents the evaluation as an extension of conventional health screening, although the company has not disclosed independent clinical validation data for the algorithm or its ability to predict future medical conditions.
Expanding the Mumbai Clinic Network
The pre-Series A funding will primarily support the opening of two new Incremental Lifestyle Clinics in Mumbai.
These facilities will join Vytalyou’s existing Powai clinic and bring its Mumbai network to three locations. The company expects the additional centres to improve access to its diagnostic and preventive healthcare services within the city.
Beyond Mumbai, Vytalyou plans to establish a total of ten locations across India over the coming years. The company has not disclosed a timetable or the cities being considered for the wider rollout.
The expansion will require Vytalyou to recruit additional medical professionals, standardise its services across locations and maintain clinical oversight as its customer base grows.
Early Customer Traction
Vytalyou says it has served close to 1,000 customers since opening its first clinic.
According to the company, approximately half of these customers visited the clinic directly, while the other half arrived through word-of-mouth referrals.
The company operates in India’s developing preventive healthcare and longevity sector, where providers are combining diagnostics, medical consultations and personalised programmes aimed at identifying health risks earlier.
Demand in the category is being supported by greater awareness of chronic lifestyle conditions and growing consumer interest in preventive care. However, the sector also requires careful medical governance, transparent evidence and clear distinctions between established clinical practice and emerging longevity treatments.
Funding the Next Stage of Growth
Vytalyou’s new capital provides the company with resources to expand beyond its first clinic and test whether its model can be replicated across additional locations.
Its immediate priority is establishing a three-centre network in Mumbai. The longer-term objective is to grow to ten clinics across India while continuing to develop its predictive evaluation and personalised healthcare programmes.
The company’s next phase will depend on its ability to scale its clinical workforce, demonstrate consistent outcomes and maintain appropriate medical supervision across its expanding network.

Indian EdTech Startup Arivihan Raises $10.2M Series A to Expand AI-Powered Learning Platform Nationwide
The company will enter new states, expand its CBSE offering and strengthen its AI and regional-language capabilities.
Indore-based AI education startup Arivihan has raised $10.2 million in Series A funding to expand its automated tutoring platform across India.
Existing investors Accel and Prosus Ventures co-led the round with a combined investment of $10 million. GSF-linked angel investors Dinesh Chandra Agrawal, Dinesh Gulati and Rajesh Sawhney contributed the remaining $200,000.
The company plans to use the capital to enter additional states, develop products for students following the Central Board of Secondary Education curriculum and improve its artificial intelligence and regional-language capabilities.
AI-Powered Tutoring Without Live Teachers
Founded in 2022 by Ritesh Singh Chandel, Sonu Kumar and Rushabh Kothari, Arivihan provides personalised digital tutoring for school students and candidates preparing for India’s National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.
The platform combines interactive video lessons, instant doubt resolution and AI-generated study plans. Its automated model is designed to deliver individualised learning without depending on live teachers for every lesson.
Arivihan uses data from students’ interactions and academic performance to adjust lessons and recommend areas requiring additional study. The company says this approach helps it serve more learners at a lower cost than conventional coaching models.
Prosus Ventures said Arivihan’s automated tutor has achieved ten times greater scalability and cost efficiency than traditional coaching, although this figure was reported by the investor and has not been independently verified.
Expanding Across State Boards and CBSE
Arivihan currently operates across Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Bihar.
The startup plans to use the Series A funding to enter additional states and extend its coverage across more regional education boards. It is also developing new products and crash courses for students following the CBSE curriculum.
Arivihan intends to cover almost all Indian state boards by the end of 2026 while expanding its CBSE offering and strengthening its products for medical entrance examination preparation.
Supporting additional curricula will require the company to adapt its educational content, assessments and AI-generated study plans to different academic standards.
Strengthening Regional-Language Capabilities
Arivihan serves a large proportion of students living outside India’s metropolitan centres.
The company says around 80% of its subscribers come from smaller cities and rural areas. Prosus described these users as being concentrated in Tier 4 cities and rural regions, while other reports have categorised them more broadly as students in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.
To support these students, Arivihan will invest in regional-language capabilities and AI research. The company aims to make its lessons, doubt-solving tools and study recommendations more accessible across linguistically diverse markets.
The startup will also invest in performance marketing and strengthen its offline distribution network. This physical presence is intended to help Arivihan reach families who may be less familiar with digital learning subscriptions or prefer to discover educational products through local channels.
More Than $15 Million Raised
Before its latest Series A, Arivihan raised $4.17 million in a pre-Series A round led by Prosus Ventures and Accel in July 2025.
The company had previously received seed support through Accel’s Atoms accelerator programme in March 2024. Its latest investment brings its total funding to more than $15 million.
The continued participation of Accel and Prosus reflects investor interest in AI-led education models designed for students outside India’s largest cities.
Scaling Personalised Learning Across India
The Series A gives Arivihan additional resources to expand geographically while building products for a wider range of curricula and examinations.
Its next stage will focus on reaching more students across state boards and CBSE, developing additional exam-preparation programmes and increasing the number of regional languages supported by its platform.
The company will also need to demonstrate that its automated model can maintain educational quality and student engagement as it expands across markets with different academic requirements, languages and levels of digital access.
